A Plaid Idea

I happened to be wide awake at six o’clock on the day of our first snow in New York City and decided to make the most of the gorgeous morning light and freshly fallen dusting of white for this Anne Klein holiday photo shoot. These train tracks in Bushwick used to be part of the Long Island Railroad’s Brooklyn line and I’ve been wanting to shoot here for a while.  I assumed the tracks were abandoned but after about 15 minutes of shooting, a slow-moving freight train emerged.  We quickly cleared the tracks, kept shooting and got some pretty cool candid moments on film (see end of post).

Thanks to Anne Klein and Fohr Card for these fun plaid pants and leather booties which I paired with my favorite vintage sweater of all time for a cozy-chic holiday look.
